Services include: Lowering the water level: We bring the water down below the skimmer and return, to the level your pool needs, and never drain it. On an above-ground pool the water is what holds the walls round against winter ice and snow. Draining equipment: We disconnect the pump, filter, and hoses and drain them, so nothing is left holding water that can freeze and crack. Plugging lines: We plug the return and close off the skimmer. Adding winter chemicals: A mix of algaecide, oxidizer, and chlorine. Removing accessories: We take out the ladder and accessories. Installing the cover: We set the air pillow and secure the winter cover with its cable and winch. *Services are for a standard above-ground pool. Extra cleaning and water balancing can be requested for an additional fee. We are not responsible for leaks in the wall, liner, or equipment before or after closing, but we will report any issues we find during the visit.
