What we collect

The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and your message. The newsletter signup asks for your email address only. Nothing on this site asks for more than that.

How we use it

Contact form submissions are used to answer your inquiry and schedule service. You also receive a confirmation email so you know your message arrived. Newsletter addresses are used to send the newsletter and nothing else.

Where it goes

Email delivery runs through Resend. Your submission is emailed to us, and your confirmation is emailed to you from contact@avcpools.com. Submissions are also recorded in a private Google Sheet so we can track and respond to inquiries. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage statistics, such as which pages are visited and for how long.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it beyond the services listed above.

Shopping and checkout

The product catalog and cart run on Shopify. Checkout happens on Shopify's secure checkout pages, so your payment details go to Shopify and never touch this site. Shopify's handling of that information is covered by the Shopify privacy policy.

Cookies and local storage

The only cookies on this site are set by Google Analytics (names beginning with _ga) to measure site usage. The site sets no cookies of its own. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

Your browser's local storage holds a few conveniences: a draft of your contact form, your cart, your favorites, and your recent searches. That data stays on your device, is never sent to us as tracking, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Spam protection

To limit spam and abuse, the site briefly holds your IP address in memory to rate-limit repeated submissions. It is not written to storage. Our spam checks log masked email addresses only, never full ones.

How long we keep it

Emails live in our business inbox and in Resend's delivery logs. Spreadsheet rows are kept as business records until we delete them. There is no automated purge. If you want something removed, ask and we will delete it.

Your choices

Email contact@avcpools.com to ask what information we have from you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To stop newsletter emails, use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or contact us directly.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
